ortables.Thedefaultviewisthe graphica l representationofalarms.However,youmayswitch
betweenthechartandtableviewsbyclickingthetabulariconorthegraphicon.
Alarm Summary Details
RASMdisplaysFaultManagementdataintheContentpanelwhenyouclickontheAlarms
toolbaroption.ToaccesstheFaultManagementSystem,RASMclientmusthaveaconnectionwith
thehostrunningthe RASMservice.
Accessing Fault Management Data
Toaccess FaultManagementdata:
1. SelecttheAlarmsoptioninthemainRASMtoolbar.
2. ToviewatableofallalarmsinRASM,clickDetailsatthebottomrightoftheAlarmSummary
screen.
Performingthisactionproducesthesameeffectasclickingthetabularicon .Fromthe
AlarmSummaryscreen,
youcanalsochoosetoviewasummaryofalarminformationinother
formats.
Youcanclickthetabular(ShowTable)iconorthegraph(ShowChart)icontoswitch
betweenthechartandtableviews.
Viewing Alarm Summary Information in Table Format
ToviewAlarmSummaryinformationintableformat:
1. Toviewasummaryofalarminformationintableformat,clickthetabularicon.Bydefault,the
tabledisplaysstatisticsoffaultsbyfunctionalareaontheXaxisandbyseverityontheYaxis.
Inthetableview,hypertextnumberslinkto
filteredliststhatcontainonlythealarmsforthat
rowandcolumn.
2. Toviewonlycategorydata,clickAlarmsbyCategoryinthelistatthebottomofthescreen.
3. Toviewonlyseveritydata,clickAlarmsbySeverityinthelistatthebottomofthescreen.

Youcanviewalarmsummaryinformationviapiechartsintwodifferentformats:bycategoryand
byseverity.
